BESPOKE STEEL FABRICATION TECHNIQUES
We work in collaboration with a wide range of clients from architects, property developers and contractors to construction companies, engineers, private home-owners and interior designers to deliver robust, proven steelwork products to order and exact specification.
We can design and manufacture everything from steelwork structural frame components to steel beams, supports, canopies, walkways and staircases. We’ve made ornamental décor items out of steel, exterior building cladding, steel furniture and bespoke steel garden features.
Steel is a strong and versatile alloy of iron and carbon, which lends itself to a vast number of uses, from sewing needles to ocean liners. Our workshop is fully equipped with the latest tools and machinery, including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems to take primary manufactured steel sheets, tubes, bars and plates and fabricate them into bespoke finished steel products.
The fabrication process includes techniques such as cutting (laser, plasma, water-jet or flame cutting); bending; welding; shot blasting; extrusion; tooling; forming and forging – to name just a few.

BESPOKE STEEL COATING OPTIONS
When it comes to working steel the final finish is very important, especially if the item is intended for decorative purposes, needs protection from the elements, or is going to be on display within the fabric of a building.
Part of the bespoke process is therefore to choose a functional and/or aesthetically pleasing coating for your custom-made steel products, which is added at the end of the production process.
We offer our clients a range of finishes to choose from for their bespoke steelwork including priming, painting, satin and mirror polishing, as well as the most popular options which are galvanising and powder coating.
Galvanising of steel involves applying a protective zinc coating which prevents rusting and corrosion, so is perfect for outdoor steel products like fencing, and construction steel products requiring durability.
Powder coating of steel is a dry finishing process which fuses a baked on hard finish – tougher than paint – to the surface of the steel item. It’s ideal for colouring steel items for architectural use, indoors or out.
